CEO

Dr. Michelle Tomlinson OTD, OTR/L, Occupational Therapist

Michelle Tomlinson received her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University and earned a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine. She is SIPT certified.

Dr. Tomlinson is originally from New York. She has had the opportunity to use her training in various settings-hospitals, skilled care facilities, the public schools and private clinics. Her passion has always been in pediatrics and private clinic-based therapy. Working in a private clinic- based setting affords her the opportunity to address not only symptoms or behaviors but develop a true understanding of the child, their family and how to best promote understanding and growth.

In 2013 she opened Diverse Therapy Inc. in Stone Mountain. The business is a true labor of love that continues to flourish while touching many family’s lives. Her approach to therapy focuses on the tenets of how to best educate, uplift and promote growth. She is interested in how sensory processing and primitive reflex integration impact a child’s development and advocates that parent education is a must for a child to succeed.

Dr. Tomlinson has partnered with Dennette Vassell, in creating the non-profit Skilled Connections and serves as Vice-Chair of the Board. The current focus is on working with connecting healthcare professionals with children and families in the parish of St. Elizabeth, Jamaica W.I.
